Hello, I'm Charlotte.
Hello, I'm Charlotte.
Strategist and Social Entrepreneur who found my way from London to the West coast.
I work at the intersection of technology, design and social impact and spend my weekends in the ocean and mountains surfing, skiing and eating around a campfire.
My first venture, Glow Away, tackled children’s fear of the dark and more recently, CRACK + CIDER has provided essential items to over 8,000 homeless people in London and California.
I currently work at Beyond as a Product Strategist on two of Google's non-profit digital platforms; run 'Beyond Good', the agency's social impact offering; and manage CRACK + CIDER’s presence in the USA.
In both my roles I am intentionally focussed on combining brand-purpose and data-led insights to design for quantifiable impact.
I also talk about Brand and Design Thinking for Social Impact at events in the UK and US and write about the topic for The Huffington Post as a guest-blogger.
After working in advertising brand strategy for a number of years I found that the data-led strategic and creative problem-solving skills we were using to solve business challenges could be applied to solving bigger problems in society.
I love combining technology, data and creativity to design products, services and communications that can make someone's day, and maybe even the world; easier, faster, and more fun.
Some examples of the work I've done: from launching a social-impact department within an agency; Co-Founding my own non-profit and working in a strategic consulting fashion on NGO's.
